The Central Jersey CROP Hunger Walk is Virtual!
Sunday, October 18, 2020!

This year's Central Somerset CROP Hunger Walk will be virtual. We also encourage walking in small groups or on your own. If you were a walker in the past, even if was many years ago, please consider this important cause again. We now need to work together to prevent a global famine resulting  from the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Central Somerset Virtual CROP Hunger Walk will take place on Sunday, October 18, 2020. Like many other things in our lives, CROP Hunger Walks are now happening in a new way. To keep everyone safe and healthy, walks are going virtual. You may choose to walk alone, with immediate family or in small groups, while walking a safe distance apart.

The work of Church World Services and our local hunger agencies continues - and with the possibility of a global famine on the horizon, raising money for vulnerable people is more needed now than ever before. A portion of the proceeds raised from our efforts will be split between the Samaritan Homeless Interim Program (SHIP) and the Food Bank Network of Somerset County.  The rest is used by Church World Services to help feed our worldly neighbors.

We hope you will join us - virtually - as we continue our shared commitment to stand up for the poor, the   forgotten and those left behind. CWS's Spring CROP Hunger Walks were down nearly $1 million this year. It is urgent that this fall we continue to raise funds to provide permanent solutions to hunger, poverty, displacement and disaster.
