And so, the dance begins. I am here, and we are about to begin a new journey together. So, breathe, I am here and will remain here until your next pastor arrives. This time together, this time in-between, will seem like a dance, at times we will waltz through the days, moving with the spirit, and other times, it may seem like I have stepped on a few toes, or you have stepped on mine, but it is all part of this Interim time, to move you all into the new.
As we get started, I would really like to get to know you in a more personal way, more than a simple “good morning” handshake on Sunday morning. So, please introduce yourself to me, several times (I’m terrible with names!).
And let us all be reminded that God is in all of this, God is changing God’s church because after all, God is the Lord of the Dance.
“Dance, then, wherever you may be; I am the Lord of the Dance, said He, and I’ll lead you all, wherever you may be. And I’ll lead you all in the dance, said He.”
